The Oak Inn has been open since January 2009 under the ownership of Peter and Denise Nesbitt.
We are perfectly located in Fakenham, and ideal for all locals and visitors of North Norfolk and further afield.
We are open 7 days a week for lunch
11am-2.30pm and 6 nights a week for dinner 6pm -9.30 Monday – Saturday
It is also the perfect venue for parties for up to 40 people;
we can also offer exclusive dining rooms for parties up to 10 people, or a coffee morning.
We can happily cater for all diets and appetites including celiac, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten free diets.
On Sunday’s a traditional offering of roast dinner is available which always includes Norfolk Turkey,
English Beef and Lamb roasts, Gressingham Duck, as well as a fresh Seafood and Fish choice.
This is accompanied by fresh local vegetables and potatoes.
The lunches suit all appetites with such favourites as Braised Lamb Shank Woodfordes Wherry ale pie, Lasagne, Scampi, Salmon and Crab fish cakes, as well as Jacket Potatoes, Sandwiches, and Hot Paninis for those who just fancy a snack.
In the evening you can enjoy our Cellar Restaurant, with its own unique ambience, and you can choose from the extensive a la’ carte menu which includes, Char grilled steaks, Seafood, Fish and Game, Pasta as well as a choice from our specials board.
At the rear, we have our beer garden which is very popular during the summer and also a function room which is available for private hire.
